About the Instructor
Called "The Sustainability Savant" by QSR Magazine, Sandra Noonan was previously Chief Sustainability Officer at Just Salad, home of the world's largest restaurant reusable bowl program. In this role, she led sustainability, ESG, and supply chain; oversaw the expansion of the brand's industry-leading reuse program; directed the creation of the U.S. restaurant industry's first carbon label; and led a successful effort to certify Just Salad as a B Corp™ -- a rarity in the restaurant industry. In 2023, she departed Just Salad to consult for companies and nonprofits. Sandra has been a frequent speaker on zero-waste, circularity, and carbon literacy. She was named one of the Most Influential Women in Foodservice, and a Power List executive, by Nation’s Restaurant News, as well as one of 17 “Sustainability Stars” by Adweek. She holds degrees from Duke University and Columbia University.
